- Sarah Boutilier Added 2018-05-29★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆I'm sorry, but there's no way I'm giving this place a higher score. I didn't even take photos. We stayed at The Lake of Shining Waters Resort. As part of our accommodations, breakfast was included. Regular breakfast was mediocre at best. Had French toast with strawberries which I thought would be fresh because they were in season. I was wrong. No doubt they were frozen strawberries from Sysco. Gross and not cool. I don't think any of the food serves here was local.
